NON-ELECTRIFICATION PART FORMING DEVICE OF PHOTOSENSITIVE BODY IN IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simply form an exact mesh-like non-electrification part by providing a mesh-like opaque layer on the reverse side of a photoconductive layer, and irradiating it with light from the inside of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:On the reverse side of a photosensitive body 10 provided with a mesh-like opaque layer on the reverse side of a conductive layer 21, a light source 25 is provided extending over the width direction in an intermediate position of an electrifier and an image exposure. In such a state, after a photoconductive layer 22 is electrified uniformly by an electrifier, the surface of the photosensitive body 10 is irradiated with light by the light source, and by erasing charge of only a transparent part, a mesh-like non-electrification part can be formed. In this regard, as for the light source 25, it is unnecessary to make it parallel with high accuracy to the inside of the photosensitive body, therefore, a precise work is not required, and also, there is no contamination caused by a floating toner, and the inspection and the maintenance can be facilitated.
