SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To enable a fuzzy inference by a few bus cycles by directly outputting the conclusive information of the fuzzy inference for the observational information being the object of the fuzzy inference, or outputting it after synthesizing it, based on the observational information and read information from a storage means. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is equipped with a condition memory 2 and a conclusion memory 3, as the storage means which store a conditional description and a conclusive description for constituting the production rule of the fuzzy inference. The conditional description and the conclusive description are stored in these storage means 2 and 3, and the bus cycle which performs access of them from the outside, and supplies the observational information, is activated, so that a logical operation and a temporary storing operation according to the rule of the fuzzy inference can be automatically operated according to an inside hardware. The conclusive information of the fuzzy inference for this observational information can be directly outputted, or the information obtained after synthesizing it can be outputted. Thus, the fuzzy inference can be realized by a digital method by a few bus cycle.
