RIGIDIZED SCREEN PLATE

PURPOSE:To obtain the screen plate which suits to precise screen printing by making the thickness of the plating coating at a center print pattern part less than the thickness of the outer peripheral part of a print pattern part or adhering no plating layer. CONSTITUTION:Screen meshes 2 formed by braiding stainless steel metal fibers to 250 meshes is extended in a rectangular plate frame 1 consisting of a 1000X1000mm aluminum pipe, no plating film is formed at the center print pattern part 2a, and a combinational plating film 3 of nickel or/and chromium is formed at the outer peripheral part 2b other than the center print pattern part by a chemical plating method to 20mum. In this case, the outer peripheral part of the screen meshes 2 is made thicker (10-50mum) than the combinational film 3 of nickel or/and chromium and the braiding is fixed to improve the accuracy greatly since the elongation quantity of the fibers at the time of the sliding of a squeeze is extremely small. Consequently, printing performance is good and the size accuracy of a print pattern is excellent.
