CARD TERMINAL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To accurately notify the generation of abnormality in a main memory by performing the reading of information against an auxiliary memory when the main memory becomes abnormal and generating warning when the number of times becomes the prescribed one. CONSTITUTION:An ID code storage part 5 stores an ID code read from this magnetic stripe 11 when the write/read of the information can not be performed against an IC memory 9 which is the main memory of an IC card 8 and when the write/read of the information can be performed against a magnetic stripe 11 of an auxiliary memory. Therefore, the ID code stored in the ID code storage part 5 indicates the abnormal IC card 8 where the IC memory 9 is abnormal. An error number of times storage part 6 stores the utilization number of times of the IC card 8 where the IC memory 9 is abnormal, and when the number of times of it reaches the set number of times, a warning generation part 7 generates warning. Thus, the abnormality in the main memory can be notified without fail.
