DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR MESH MODEL

PURPOSE:To display a mesh model using a high-order element by a conventional display method by providing a specific element division processing part, and dividing the high-order element into low-order elements based on structural information. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a node information write part 1, element information read-in processing part 2, element division control processing part 3, element division processing part 4, element shape type number attachment processing part 5, element number attachment processing part 6, and an element information write processing part 7. Also, it is comprised by providing a mesh model display processing part 8, an OLD file F1 which stores the structural information of the mesh model including the high-order element, and a NEW file F2 which stores the structural information of the mesh model comprised of only the low-order element. In other words, the high-order element of the mesh model comprised of an element including the high-order element is divided into the low-order elements. Thereby, it is possible to display even the mesh model including the high-order element by the conventional display method of the mesh model by which only the low-order element can be displayed.
