MIXING HEAD OF FOAM MOLDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To prevent a foam molding material from penetrating in the inner periphery of a bearing from the interior of a mixing head main body by providing a bearing to a bearing cylinder part to partition the interior of the bearing cylinder part and the interior of the mixing head main body and providing an air supply port to the bearing cylinder part. CONSTITUTION:A mixing rotor 6 is rotationally driven by the rotary driving force transmitted to a rotary shaft 5 through a drive shaft 22 and foam molding materials of a plurality of components are supplied to a mixing head main body in predetermined quantities from raw material supply ports 15, 15 to be stirred and mixed by a mixing rotor 6 and emitted from an emitting port 3 to be foamed. Air is sent in a bearing cylinder part 2 under pressure from an air supply port 7 and the pressure of air acts on the gap between the outer periphery of a drive shaft 22 and the inner periphery of a bearing 4. Therefore, when a foam molding material is stirred and mixed in the mixing head main body 1, the penetration of the foam molding material in the inner periphery of the bearing 4 can be prevented. when the temp. of the air sent in the bearing cylinder part 2 under pressure is controlled, foaming behavior such as the acceleration of a foaming time can be controlled by the adjustment of temp.
