DEVICE FOR CONNECTING LIGHTING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To connect equipment bodies together in sequence by forming a fitting recessed portion on the back side of the end plate portion of each equipment body, and fitting a connector into the fitting recessed portion by means of junction of a widened engagement portion to the widened portion of the connector, and thereafter joining to the widened engagement portion the widened portion of the connector fitted into an equipment main body initially stuck to a mounting surface so as to fit the connector into the fitting recessed portion of another equipment main body to be connected to the former equipment main body. CONSTITUTION:A connector 51 is pressed and fitted into the fitting recessed portion 35 of one end plate portion 22 of an equipment body 50 by junction of a widened engagement portion 52 to a widened portion 37 and also by engagement of a guide channel 53 with a fitting guide protruding streak 38 and the equipment body 50 is made to abut at its back side to a mounting surface and this reflecting-plate mounting plate 26 is affixed to the mounting surface by means of screws 62 from the opening 31 of a reflecting plate 21. Another connector 51 is similarly fitted into the fitting recessed portion 35 of one end portion of another equipment body 50 to be installed adjacent to the former equipment body 50 and the latter equipment body 50 is made to abut on a mounting surface. Then the connector 51 mounted to the end portion of the former equipment body 50 installed earlier is fitted into the fitting recessed portion 35 of one end plate portion 22 of the next equipment body 50 by junction of the widened engagement portion 52 to the widened portion 37 and also by engagement of the guide channel 53 with the fitting guide protruding streak 38.
