UNDERWATER CONCRETE PLACING METHOD USING CONCRETE STORAGE CYLINDER, AND CONCRETE STORAGE CYLINDER

PURPOSE:To certainly perform underwater concrete placing on the sea by inserting a ready-mixed concrete force feed pipe into a concrete storage cylinder on a frame, force-feeding a desired quantity of ready-mixed concrete, then gradually pulling up the storage cylinder, and continuously force-feeding the concrete so that the discharged concrete never make contact with the sea water. CONSTITUTION:A working frame 2 is provided on a concrete placing formwork 1 stood on a sea bottom base rock or rubble-mound 9, a plurality of unit cylinders according to the depth of a concrete placing point are vertically connected to each other, and a concrete storage cylinder 3 having a cap made of an iron plate fitted thereon is inserted to and held by a ready-mixed concrete discharge hole 4 on the lower end of the cylinder body. Then, ready-mixed concrete is force-fed and charged into the concrete storage cylinder 3 from a concrete mixer 11 through a concrete force-feed pipe 12, and the concrete is placed while gradually pulling up the storage cylinder 3. Thus, the concrete can be certainly placed in the concrete placing position without having the influence of waves and wind.
