AIR-FUEL RATIO CONTROLLER FOR ENGINE

PURPOSE:To accurately control an air-fuel ratio by correcting the control signal of a feedback control means so as to make the control range of a flow characteristic of an injector become that of a reference flow characteristic when a deviation between both these characteristics of the injector becomes more than the specified value. CONSTITUTION:In a device which is provided with a feedback control means 61, receiving output of an air-fuel ratio detecting means 35 detecting the air-fuel ratio of an engine, and feedback-controlling a fuel supply being sprayed and fed out of an injector 14 so as to make an air-fuel ratio of mixture to be fed to the engine become the desired air-fuel ratio, there is provided a flow characteristic detecting means 62 which detects a flow characteristic of the injector 14. A deviation in an injector flow characteristic to the preset reference flow characteristic is detected by a deviation detecting means 63, and according to this deviation, a control signal of the feedback control means 61 is made so as to be corrected by a correcting means 64 so as to make the control range on the basis of the injector flow characteristic become that on the basis of the reference characteristic.
