Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To make uniform glow discharge possible, lengthen a lifetime, and improve efficiency by stretching a metal wire on a high-specific-inductive- capacity ferroelectric substance to utilize creeping wire corona discharge spreading about the metal wire on the ferroelectric substance. CONSTITUTION:The present invention comprises a corona preionizer consisting of an SrTiO3 or BaTiO3 plate ferroelectric substance 1 and a thin metal wire 2 stretched on the center of the surface thereof, a laser tube 3 in which laser gas is enclosed, and a wire mesh electrode 4 and a metal electrode 5 face to face with each other. When a high-voltage pulse is applied between the wire mesh electrode 4 and the metal electrode 5, a high-voltage pulse is applied between the ferroelectric substance 1 and the metal wire 2, brush corona discharge occurs about the metal wire 2 on the surface of the ferroelectric substance, and the laser gas is pre-ionized uniformly. The moment voltage between the electrodes 4 and 5 as main discharge electrodes reaches dielectric breakdown voltage, uniform glow discharge occurs and the laser gas is excited uniformly. |
