TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR IMAGE DATA

PURPOSE:To easily transfer data in an optional shape area by providing this image data transfer system with a transfer means for generating image data obtained as the result of logical operation and transferring the formed image data to a storage part. CONSTITUTION:An optional shape area transfer control part 12 executes AND operation between the inverse of a mask pattern area of a graphic memory 15 and a rectangular area to be transferred stored in an image memory 17 and stores the AND result in a main memory 17. Then, the control part 12 executes AND operation between the rectangular area to be transferred and a mask pattern area and stores the AND result in the memory 15. Then, the control part 12 executes AND operation between the mask pattern area of the memory 15 and the rectangular area to be transferred stored in the memory 17 and transfers the AND result to the rectangular area to be transferred. Namely, the image data to be transferred are generated and stored in the memory 17. A system control part 11 reads out the image data from the memory 17 based upon a transfer instruction outputted from a mouse 19 and executes output processing. Thus, the data of an optional shape area can be transferred.
