DRAWER TYPE BREAKER UNIT

PURPOSE:To reduce an installation area and to facilitate inspection and maintenance by vertically moving a breaker by an elevator mechanism provided under a drawer type breaker unit, separating or connecting an upper movable side main circuit disconnector of the breaker from or to a stationary side main circuit disconnector. CONSTITUTION:Power source and load side connectors 3A, 3B of phases are mounted at insulating supports 8A, 8B provided at the tops of both right and left sides of a boxlike frame 1 opened at the top of a drawer type breaking switch. A table 9 moving in and out of the frame 1 along grooves formed on the bottom at both sides of the frame 1 is provided. An elevator, not shown, is provided under the table 9 to vertically move the table 9. Main circuit disconnectors separately provided at the power and load side connectors 3A, 3B of the phases are provided through a hole 10a of an insulating plate 10 on the table 9, the table 9 is vertically moved up or down to open or close the connectors 3A, 3B. Thus, predetermined area of the box is reduced to facilitate inspection and maintenance.
