Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the overflow of molten metal from the upper and part of casting space by inserting a parting block for preventing leakage of the molten metal in the almost wedge-like gap between the upper peripheral surface of a pulley and the surface of the short side block facing to the peripheral surface and providing a fluid seal mechanism for injecting the fluid at the lower part of the parting block. CONSTITUTION:When the molten metal M rises, the molten metal M inclines to leak to the outside from the gap between the lower end part of the parting block 9 and a belt 2, and the short side block 5. On the other hand, as compressed air or inert gas, is injected at high velocity from a nozzle hole 9b at the lower surface of the parting block 9, the molten metal M inclining to leak, is pressed back to the center side of the pulley 2. Therefore, the molten metal M becomes the profile having inclination without rising the surface level thereof at the short side block 5 side and the leakage of molten metal M from the gap is prevented.
