Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an interior lighting device for vehicle that can illuminate car interior from the side surface thereof by providing a lighting means on a seat belt holding means. CONSTITUTION:A roof side rail 1 is provided on the inner side surface of a car body roof 23 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, while a seat belt adjuster 3 as a seat belt 5 holding means, is mounted on the side surface of the car interior, in such a way that the adjuster can be rotated through a shaft 21. The shaft 21 is in a form of hollow cylinder, and a lead for the power source of a light source 13 is wired in the hollow part of the shaft. An interior lighting unit 11 is provided as a lighting means on the inside of a lighting unit mounting part 17 provided on the end part where a buckle 9 of the seat belt adjuster 3 is not provided. Since a lighting means is provided on the seat belt holding means, car interior can be illuminated from the side surface thereof, and the car interior illumination can thus be more comfortable.
