LINE CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a network by providing a means referencing periodically a setting/release time defined in a management table and executing the setting/release of a line connected fixedly to an opposite party to the system so as to set the line connected fixedly to the opposite party by a time zone in response to the job content. CONSTITUTION:A time detection section 152 of a management system 15 retrieves a time definition table 151 at a predetermined time and checks whether or not a setting/release time corresponding to a current time is defined. When the relevant setting/release time is defined, the time detection section 152 issues a command for setting or releasing the relevant line connected fixedly to an opposite party. Thus, the setting of the line connected fixedly to the opposite party is implemented at a time zone suitable for the job content. Then the number of lines when no communication is implemented actually is reduced and the efficient network utilization is realized.
