THERMAL COMPOUND FREE FROM DIFFUSION OF OIL

PURPOSE:To remarkably inhibit the separation, bleeding, and diffusion of the base oil of a thermally conductive grease or compound by incorporating a specified molten urea compound into a compound containing a thermally conductive powder. CONSTITUTION:At least 0.5% molten urea compound having a melting point of 250 deg.C or lower is incorporated into a compound containing a thermally conductive powder to give the title compound. The urea compound can be synthesized by the reaction of an isocyante with an amine, and those of a melting point of 250 deg.C or lower have a function of inhibiting the separation, bleeding, and diffusion of base oil. Since the title compound has a very low degree of separation of oil and diffusion of base oil, it is suitable for use in the field of precision machinery, for example, various sliding parts, various bearings, switches, contact parts, etc., of a camera, a watch, a copying machine, a printer, etc. It is also suitable for the cooling structure of a computer or for making electronic parts thermally conductive.
