Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To protect a power supply transistor against breakdown and to allow usage of a power supply transistor having low rated collector current capacity by providing a slow start circuit section for rising Ic of the power supply transistor slowly thereby rising Ic of the power supply transistor slowly at the time of turn ON of power switch. CONSTITUTION:Upon turn ON of a power switch, a DC voltage is outputted from a rectifying circuit section 1 and at the same time, charging current flows into a capacitor C1 thus operating a transistor Q2 at a control circuit section 5 quickly through a diode D3. Consequently, base current of a power supply transistor Q1 is extracted through resistors R1, R2 in order to rise Ic of the power supply transistor Q1 slowly. According to the constitution, power supply transistor can be protected easily against breakdown at the time of turn ON of power switch thus allowing usage of a power supply transistor having low rated collector current capacity.
