Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To control thermal loss against the outside of both a high temperature regenerator and a low temperature regenerator to minimum, and save materials and energy by laying out the high temperature regenerator and the low temperature regenerator so that they may come into contact with each other and using a common barrier shared by both the regenerators for the radiation from the high temperature regenerator and heating at the low temperature regenerator. CONSTITUTION:A double utility adsorption hot water heater comprises a vaporizer 1, an absorber 3, a condenser 10A, a low temperature regenerator 7A, a high temperature regenerator 8A, a solution heat exchanger 6, a solution pump 5, a refrigerant pump 11, and a piping system which connect these devices so that they may function. For example, the vaporizer 1 and the absorber 3 constitute one shell while the low temperature regenerator 7A and the high temperature regenerator 8A, and the condenser 10A constitute the other shell. The high temperature regenerator 7A and the low temperature regenerator 8A are laid out so that they may come into contact with each other vertically where a partition board 12A is formed as a barrier which separates the joint parts facing both the regenerators. This construction makes it possible to use the radiation from the high temperature regenerator 8A as a heating source for the low temperature regenerator 7A by way of the partion board 12.
