ANTIULCER AGENT

PURPOSE:To provide a low toxic, stable, highly active antiulcer agent capable of pharmaceutical manufacturing through a conventional process, containing, as active ingredient, hydroxyapatite with platinum carried by means of adsorption, ion exchange etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective antiulcer agent containing, as active ingredient, hydroxyapatite with platinum carried. Said hydroxyapatite can be produced, for example, through the following process: an aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide is added to a chloroplatinic acid-contg. phosphoric acid solution followed by, if needed, agitation under heating, and the resulting precipitate is collected, washed with distilled water, dried, and then, depending on the type of preparation to be used, burnt at >=800 deg.C, and the resultant solid is ground. The amount of the platinum to be carried is pref. 0.001-30wt.% based on the hydroxyapatite. The pharmaceutical manufacturing can be conventionally made, and the present antiulcer agent can be used in the form of injections, oral tablets, suppositories etc.
