TERMINAL DEVICE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC CONTACTOR

PURPOSE:To make safely the handling of a lower stage terminal with a driver by forming a tab enclosing the outer side face of an upper stage terminal at least partially on an insulate bulkhead furnished between the upper stage and lower stage terminals. CONSTITUTION:The outer side face 8a of an upper stage terminal 8 is enclosed partially with a tab 15a extending from an insulate bulkhead 15. Therefore, a driver inserted for handling a lower stage terminal screw 13 is hindered by the tab 15a and does not touch the outer side face 8a directly, and there is no fear of generation of electrical continuity between the upper stage terminal 8 and lower stage terminal 11. Because the foot part 15b of the insulate bulkhead 15 is in detention with a projection 11a on the lower stage terminal 11, the lower stage terminal 11 is prevented from moving to the outside because of loss of the resilience.
