MAGNETIC TAPE CASSETTE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To attain the reproduction of magnetic tape cassettes having different tape recording references by constituting a device so that connection members of a loading mechanism are assigned to each kind of the magnetic tape cassettes provided with specially formed recessed parts. CONSTITUTION: A pressing roller of the device exerts on the magnetic tape of the cassette 3 by passing through an opening part 9 which is provided on a front wall 8 of the housing 7. On a digital magnetic tape cassette 13, a sliding cover 16 is arranged for covering the openings 9, 10 which are provided on the front wall 17 of cassette for passing the pressing roller and magnetic head. The cassette is furnished with the recessed parts for pulling in two kinds of cassettes, i.e., a reel spindle hole 4 for the analog magnetic tape cassette and a groove 21 for the digital magnetic tape cassette. The magnetic tape cassette device for reproduction is provided with the loading mechanism 27, thereby any of the connection member 32 of analog magnetic tape cassette or the connection member 33 of digital magnetic tape cassette is pushed into the recessed part 4 or 21. Then the connection member is made compact and cooperated with both of the digital cassette and analog cassette without the movement.
