Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve bactericidal effect by a method wherein a series of magnets are arranged in two tiers with their same poles facing one another in a device which uses a plurality of permanent magnets to produce an magnetic field in which to destroy microorganisms growing in a liq. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 2 are arranged in a housing 1 with their same poles facing one another to form a magnetic disinfecting device. The permanent magnets 2 are so spaced apart as to set a reduction in the pressure of flowing water at a value not exceeding about 0.3Kg/cm . In this way the magnetic disinfecting device capable of disinfection in a short time can be obtained.
