SOLID STATE LASER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To stably generate high frequency laser beam by providing a phase controller for adjusting and combining phases of high frequency laser beams travelling oppositely with each other generated within a nonlinear optical element. CONSTITUTION:Oscillation of a basic wave laser beam 5 generated from a resonator comprising a laser medium 4 and a selective reflecting films 6, 73 can be adjusted with alignment of an angle adjusting device 120. A component 81 of high frequency laser beam generated from a nonlinear optical element 7 within the resonator is outputted directly to an outer device. A component 82 of high frequency laser beam generated in the opposite direction is reflected by the selective reflection film 102. A distance adjusting device 110 adjusts phases of high frequency laser beams 81, 82 so that these phases are matched in the outside of the resonator. The selective reflection film 102 does not reflect the basic laser beam 5 but totally reflects the high frequency laser beam 8. The relective reflecting film 73 totally reflects the basic laser beam 5 but does not reflect the high frequency laser beam 8.
