METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INSERTING CONDUCTOR PIN

PURPOSE:To make it possible to securely insert a plurality of B pins simultaneously by picking up only B pins at the specified positions from a B pin jig plate and inserting the pins into the specified positions of a pin standing jig with the physical relations therebetween kept. CONSTITUTION:In a process of insertion of A pins, the A pins are inserted into the A pin holes of a pin standing jig. In a process of insertion of B pins, the B pins are inserted into the B pin holes in the four corners of the pin standing jig. The B pins are inserted with a B pin insertion apparatus 1 and a B pin jig plate 4B. In a process of detection of missing pins, whether or not a pin or pins are missing and, if ever, which pin or pins are missing from the pin standing jig, in which the A pins and B pins are inserted, are inspected with an inspector 58. In a process of completion of pin insertion, A pins are inserted into the sections wanting A pins in the pin standing jig based on the signal from the inspector. B pins are inserted into the sections wanting B pins. Thereby the A pins and B pins are completely inserted in the pin standing jig.
