Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the subject lubricant composed of an unrefined oil derived from vegetables and having a specific iodine value, exhibiting small viscosity variation with temperature, giving little increase of blade temperature of a chain saw and effective for suppressing the feeding amount (consumption) of lubrication oil. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant is produced by using an unrefined oil originated from vegetables and having an iodine value of 80-140 (e.g. rapeseed oil, rice oil, soybean oil, olive oil and corn oil), optionally adding one or more components selected from an oil-soluble emulsifier, an animal or vegetable wax and an animal or vegetable extreme hardener and preferably further compounding an antioxidant such as tocopherol, BHT and TBHQ.
