Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To form an image having the discoloring properties of an ultraviolet ray by incorporating a discoloring agent in one of a liquid developer and an after- processing agent and a photoactivator in the other one, when the image obtained by developing an electrostatic latent image with the liquid developer is after-processed. CONSTITUTION:As the liquid developer, a concentrated developer which is prepared by dispersing 10pts.wt. of discoloring agent 13pts. of lauryl methacrylate/methyl methacrylilate = 9/1 copolymers, 0.6 pts. of fluorocarbon interface activators, 0.1pts. of charge control agents, 35pts. of solvents ('Isobar G(R)'), together with 100pts. of glass beads having the diameters of 2mm, by a paint shaker for 12-hours, is used after diluted in 'Isoper G(R)' to 2% solid content. Then, as the after-processing agent, the photoactivators of 10-parts, and the methyl ethyl ketone of 10-parts are used. The image formed by a recorder through the use of the liquid developer is coated with the after-processing agent by brushing to form the image having the ultraviolet ray discoloring properties, and the irradiation of the ultraviolet ray is carried out through the use of two high-voltage mercury lamps having the output of 11.2kw. Thus, the images respectively discolored from colorless to orange, green, black, and blue are obtained.
