Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer compsn. with extremely little coloring and widely applicable as a molding material by polymerizing triallyl isocyanurate without any solvent in the presence of molecular oxygen by using active carbon at a specified temp. after performing recrystallization of triallyl isocyanurate from a specified solvent. CONSTITUTION:In preparing a triallyl isocyanurate polymer compsn. by polymerizing triallyl isocyanurate without any solvent in the presence of molecular oxygen at 100 deg.C or higher, triallyl isocyanurate is recrystallized from a solvent selected from alcohols with a carbon number of 10 or smaller and an m.p. of 25 deg.C or lower. Said reaction can be performed under either an ordinary pressure or a high pressure but it is pref. to perform it usually under an ordinary pressure from the viewpoint of economy and workability. As the molecular oxygen, an oxygen-contg. gas such as an oxygen gas or air is used and air is economically advantageous.
