Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To fix the wastewater residence time of a septic tank and an aeration tank by dividing a combined wastewater treatment tank into two separate ones to interconnect both of them by means of a flow control device. CONSTITUTION:A stand-by filtration tank 3 of primary treatment process and a first aeration tank 4 of secondary treatment process are interconnected by means of a flow control device 9, wherein a transfer line 11 is made long. The diameter of the line 11 is selected depending on the amount of wastewater to be purified and residence time required for the aeration tanks 4 and 5, so that flow rate of wastewater passing through the processes can be adjusted.
