SEMICONDUCTOR STORAGE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To realize multi-function with simple constitution by sending an output signal externally via an output selection circuit receiving a readout signal comprising plural bits and shifting selectively one or plural bits in positive and/or negative direction according to a prescribed control signal. CONSTITUTION:Switch control is applied by using an alternative selection signal formed by a shift register SR acting like a pointer to switch MOSFETs Q1, Q2 and Q3, Q4. In order to attain a serial output from an optional bit, an output signal of the final stage of the shift register SR is fed back to a 1st stage circuit. Since a data outputted serially is subject to weight control, it is inputted to an output selection circuit (shifter) to apply weight change such as X1/2 or X2 to the data. The shifter SFT according to a control signal OS shifts one or plural bits altogether in positive or negative direction of the inputted data and gives the result to an output circuit DOB. Thus, the output signal with weight change of X1/2 or X2 is simply obtained by the switching of the output selection circuit SFT.
