THERMAL RECORDER

PURPOSE:To enable printing quality to be secured by removing generation of irregularity in printing by a method wherein energizing force of a coil spring is restrained when a reception door is opened, and a hanger rod which holds a thermal head horizontally is installed between the thermal head and the reception door. CONSTITUTION:A platen 18 is energized by uniform force with a thermal head 17 by two coil springs 35, 35 under a state wherein a reception door 21 is closed, and pulse voltage is impressed onto recording paper 5 drawn out on the platen 18 by reception information to record by printing the reception information on the recording paper 5. Further, under a state wherein the reception door 21 is opened due to set of the recording paper 5, other inspection or the like, even though the coil springs 35, 35 are going to energize by elasticity, the thermal head 17 is held horizontally with hanger rods 34, 34, and the thermal head 17 never bends.
