BUILT-IN ADAPTER MOVING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a VTR with built-in an adapter, for which the number of parts is reduced, cost is lowered and operation is made stable, by providing adapter driving devices in an adapter housing place and the side face, etc., of the VTR on the back of a cassette holder in the VTR, transmitting driving force to the adapter by L-shaped driving arms and parallelly moving the adapt er. CONSTITUTION:A driving device for moving an adapter 7 is provided on the side face of the VTR and the plane shapes of driving arms 1 and 2 are almost L-shaped. Then, interference to parts existent in the VTR is avoided and the turn support shafts of the driving arms 1 and 2 are arranged near the adapter 7. The adapter can be passed from the adapter housing place through the internal part of a cassette holder 6 by the driving arms 1 and 2 and horizontally moved to a compact cassette attaching and detaching position out of the VTR. Then, the necessity of holding parts for moving the adapter such as a front holder is eliminated. Thus, the number of parts is reduced, operation is made stable and a device can be made compact.
