Thus, since the height of the driving arms 1 and 2 and a slider 9, etc., is set within the height of the adapter 7, namely, at the height so that the driving arms 1 and 2 and slider 9 can be passed in the internal part of the cassette holder 6, it is not necessary to move the adapter 7 by a separate means before and behind the cassette holder 6 and the operation can be made unique by the driving arms 1 and 2. Thus, the number of parts can be reduced, the operation can be made stable and the VTR can be made compact.
