OCEAN WAREHOUSE

PURPOSE:To facilitate loading/unloading of cargo, carrying in and out operation and distribution to a warehouse by installing a bridge crane comprising a trolley and a traveling truck between an apron of an ocean warehouse and the quay, and providing opening portions on a penthouse and slabs for partitioning the respective floors in such a manner that the openings are gradually decreased in size as they go downward. CONSTITUTION:Load is moved among a cargo ship 5 held on an apron, an ocean warehouse 1 and the quay 4 by lifting the load by a trolley 25 of a bridge crane 23 and traveling a traveling truck 27. Opening portions 29, 31, 31... are formed on a penthouse 21 of the ocean warehouse 1 and slabs 30 of the respective floors respectively. The penthouse opening portion 29 is largest, and the openings 31 are set in such a manner that they are decreased in size as they go downward. Accordingly, the load can be unloaded on a desired slab 30 or lifted up through the penthouse opening portion 29 and the upper floor opening portion 31. By this arrangement, loading/unloading of cargo, carrying in and out operation and distribution can be facilitated.
