LOW LIGHTNESS OVERHEAD ELECTRIC LINE

PURPOSE:To make an overhead electric line have low lightness and prevent corona discharge by drawing a surface roughened metal wire using a mixture lubricating agent for drawing which is mixed with a dark color powder. CONSTITUTION:A sand material such as alumina, etc., is sprayed to the surface of an aluminum wire 120 through a spraying nozzle 3 to carry out sand-blast and roughen the surface. Then, the resulting aluminum wire 120 is immersed in a lubricating agent tank 4 in which a mixture lubricating agent 41 consisting of a lubricating agent for drawing and a dark color powder. Finally, the aluminum wire 120 is drawn by dies 5 so as to obtain a most outerlayer wire element 12 with a prescribed wire diameter and having the dark color powder adhering to the surface. In this way, the color tone of the wire element is darkened and low lightness is provided and further good corona property is obtained.
