Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To separate product heavy water and recovered water by controlling the withdrawal rate of the recovered water in such a manner as to attain the specified heavy water concn. of the water in the intermediate part of an exchange reaction column and controlling the withdrawal rate of the product heavy water so as to attain the specified water volume in the water/hydrogen isotope exchange reaction device. CONSTITUTION:The heavy water A (deteriorated heavy water) which is lowered in concn. by light water is separated to the high-concn. heavy water B (product heavy water) and the high-concn light water C (recovered water) by the mono thermal chemical exchange method water/hydrogen isotope exchange reaction device consisting of the combination of the exchange reaction column 1, an electrolyzing device 2 and a recombining device 3. The withdrawal rate of the high-concn. light water C is so controlled as to attain the specified heavy water concn. of the water in the intermediate part of the exchange reaction column 1. Further, the withdrawal rate of the high- concn. heavy water B is so controlled as to attain the specified water volume in the above-mentioned water/hydrogen isotope exchange reaction device. As a result, both the product heavy water B and the recovered water C having the desired high heavy water concns. are obtd.
