WASTE GRINDER

PURPOSE:To grind waste without using a charging chute having an inclined surface by feeding waste in a horizontal direction by a horizontal conveyor to make it possible to grind the same by a rotor and a grate. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 11 having a plurality of hammers 12 screwed therein is received in a casing 19 and waste is ground by the grate 16 close to the rotary surface of the rotor 11. The opening part 21 directed to the lower half part of the rotor 11 is provided to the lower half part of a front casing 20 and a horizontal conveyor 22 for feeding waste is provided in the vicinity of the opening part 21 and the direction converting part 23 of the horizontal conveyor 22 is allowed to be adjacent to said opening part 21. Further, a closure material 18 closing the space between the connection material 17 of the grate 16 and the direction converting part 23 is provided and a supply control means 24 for controlling the supply amount of the waste is provided above the direction converting part 23 in close vicinity to said converting part 23. As a result, waste can be ground without using a charging chute having an inclined surface.
