Zusammenfassung: | A tool holder (10) is provided for a machine tool in which a plurality of standardised tool holders (10), in particular steep-taper tool holders, can be removed from a tool magazine by means of grippers (16) and can be inserted into a spindle (12) of a headstock. The tool holder (10) has an annular flange (13) with an external taper surface (20) narrowing towards the bottom. The gripper (16) can be provided with an internal taper surface (21) widening towards the top. When the tool holder (10) is inserted into the spindle (12), the surfaces (20, 21) bear against one another under frictional connection with the dead weight of the tool holder (10), whereas in the retracted state of the tool holder (10) in the spindle (12) the surfaces (20, 21) are lifted from one another. … So that standardised tool holders (10) with a relatively small annular flange can also be used in such machine tools whose grippers (16) are set up for so-called brake-bearing tool holders with larger annular-flange dimensions, the internal taper surface (21) is made on an annular insert part (15) which can be inserted as an adaptor into a gripper (16) provided for tool holders with larger annular-flange dimensions. …… |
