CORDLESS IRON

PURPOSE:To easily know the usable amount of iron in which ironing can be continuously done without feeding by providing a means for informing the difference of present temperature to the prescribed temperature of a base face as a usable amount in an iron main body. CONSTITUTION:An iron main body has a power source comprising a condenser for operating a control means during ironing and a battery or the like and a feeding terminal electrically connected to a heater. When the temperature of a base 2 gradually falls due to ironing, the control means sequentially puts out a light of LED of an informing means indicating a usable amount based on an output of a temperature detecting means to inform an operator of a feeding time of an iron main body 1. Thus, since the usable amount can be informed, the feeding time of the iron main body 1 can be informed to the operator. Accordingly, the operator can devote himself to ironing without worrying about the fall in temperature of the iron main body 1 or the feeding time and therefore operability is improved.
