Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently cultivate plants, such as vegetable, at a high density by providing the lateral side of an artificial light source with a cultivation bed in each cabinet and simultaneously setting light quantity for the plants facing the artificial light source so as to provide predominant antigeotaxis. CONSTITUTION:A cultivation bed 7 for cultivating plants is arranged at a suitable place located at the lateral side of artificial light sources 6 in each cabinet 9 and light irradiating the plants facing the aforementioned artificial light sources is simultaneously set at a higher quantity than that providing predominant antigeotaxis. Thereby, lighting power cost is reduced to simultaneously regulate the light quantity of the artificial light sources. As a result, balance can be kept between photoaxis and the antigeotaxis.
