SKI CARRIER

PURPOSE:To surely support a ski plate with four surfaces by adapting its lower and inner side surfaces to a plurality of supporting surfaces in a ski holder thereafter pressing down a clamp arm with both ends of a swivel holder brought into contact with upper and outer side surfaces of the ski plate. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 is fixed to a roof or a frame, mounted to the roof, in an automobile, further a plurality of ski holders 2 are fixed to the base 1 with a predetermined space. A ski plate 5 is placed in a manner wherein its lower and inner side surfaces are brought into contact respectively with a plurality of supporting surfaces 3, 4 formed respectively in the ski holder 2. While by pressing down a clamp arm 6, both ends 9a, 9b of a swivel holder 9 are attached to respectively upper and outer side surfaces of the ski plate 5. Further by pressing down the clamp arm 6 to be stopped to the base 1, a swing arm 7 is turned against a spring 8. Thus by urging force of the spring 8, the ski plate 1 is firmly press-supported through the swivel holder 9.
