TAURINE DERIVATIVE AND LEUKOTRIENE ANTAGONISTIC AGENT CONTAINING THE SAME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (A-CO is carboxylic acid residue having leukotriene antagonistic action as -A-COOH) or salts thereof. EXAMPLE:Sodium 2-{4-{{{5-[(4-acetyl-3-hydroxy-2-propylbenzyl)thio]-1,3,4- thiadiazol-2-yl}thio}methyl}benzamido}ethanesulfonate.hemihydrate. USE:A medicine and active ingredient of leukotriene antagonistic agents useful for preventing and treating various allergic diseases, such as bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis or uriticaria, or ishemic cardiac and cerebral diseases, inflammations, etc., caused by the leukotriene. PREPARATION:A leukotriene antagonistic agent having carboxylic acid functional group expressed by formula II or a reactive derivative thereof is reacted with taurines expressed by formula III in the presence of a condensing agent, such as dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, to afford the compound expressed by formula I.
