TAXI STAND SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To shorten a passenger's taxi waiting time and to efficiently secure passengers by informing a taxi calling from a stand and lighting up the display of a taxi stand simultaneously with the insertion of a card to the stand. CONSTITUTION:When the card 5 is inserted into the injection port 4 of the taxi stand 1, a signal indicating the region number 3 of the stand 1 is generated and the display lamp 2 is put on to inform the position. When a taxi mounting a navigation system together with a receiving equipment receives the generated signal, the region number of the taxi stand to be the signal originating position is simultaneously displayed and the taxi if it is empty takes up the passenger waited at the taxi stand. Consequently, passengers can be efficiently secured and the taxi waiting time can be shortened.
