ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrences of interference fringes at the time of forming an image, and white and black spots by forming a conductive substrate uniformly roughened on the surface having roughness specified in the maximum roughness and the average interval between its peaks and troughs. CONSTITUTION:The conductive substrate 1 to be used has the surface uniformly roughened by a wet honing device 2 - 5 from the initial surface roughness having a maximum roughness Rmax of =40mum to the finished roughness having a Rmax of 1 - 4mum and an average interval of 10 - 30mum, thus permitting the obtained surface of the substrate to be made uniformly rough and finely sandy, and accordingly, occurrences of interference fringes and white and black spots to be prevented.
