Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a polyolefin resin composition which has excellent moldability and good rigidity and heat resistance and is applicable to a molding material for sliding members by adding a specified amount of an inorganic filler to a polyolefin resin having specified properties. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition for sliding members is formed by mixing a polyolefin resin of a melt index of 2-30g/10min and a density >=0.955g/cm with an inorganic filler in an amount equal to 1/9-2/3 of the weight of the resin. Examples of the polyolefin resins include polyethylene, polypropylene, poly-1-butene and poly-1-pentene. The inorganic filler is desirably one having a mean particle diameter of 0.6-20mum, and examples include metal salts, silicates, metal oxides and aluminum compounds. Calcium carbonate or talc is particularly desirable.
