PRINTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce a cost when a print system is extended by establishing the channel of a print data signal and outputting the print data signal only for an information processor responding to a print confirmation signal. CONSTITUTION:When print is performed, firstly, the print confirmation signal to inquire whether or not a print request exists is outputted from a prescribed printer 2 to all the connected information processors 1. The information processor 1 having print data responds by replying to the print confirmation signal by outputting a print request signal with a response means. The printer 2 establishes the channel of the print data for only the information processor from which a response is obtained with a channel establishing means. When the channel of the print data is established, the print data is outputted to the printer with the print data output means of the information processor 1, then, the print is performed. Thereby, cost reduction when the print system is extended can be attained.
