This apparatus comprises a communication terminal, a modem, a memory which stores received information demodulated by the modem, a display which displays such received information, a recording device which records such received information and a switch which selects driving of the memory, display and/or recording device. With this apparatus received information is once stored in the memory and is selectively recorded as required by the recording device after confirmation of the contents of the received information with the display.
