REAL TIME TRACER

PURPOSE:To improve program test adequacy and precision of a coverage tracer and the debugging efficiency by providing a monitor means which can always take out status information of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:An external terminal T1 for output of contents of a condition code register CCR in a microcomputer and an external terminal T2 for output of a signal LCCR indicating that the condition code changed after each instruction execution is settled are provided. Consequently, contents CCRS of the condition code in the microcomputer are monitored in real time. Thus, not only the executed instruction but also the change of the condition code is stored in a memory by the coverage tracer and is analysed thereafter to not only detect whether correct branch and operation are executed or not but also measure the coverage including the data dependency of the instruction.
