INFORMATION RECORDING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain the effective data communication with a computer and simultaneously to reduce the load of a recorder by blocking the information outputted from the computer and recording the information having the prescribed block length to a recording material. CONSTITUTION:A controller 12 gives a request to a host computer 10 to transmit data equivalent to one row when a RAM of the controller 12 has a storage area. The data received from the computer 10 is blocked into a prescribed format and stored in the RAM. Then a port of a COM 14 is read and the block data is sent to the COM 14 when it is decided based on the port state that the block data can be sent to the COM 14. The COM 14 records data to a recording material based on the block data. Then the COM 14 writes the transmission inable data into the port in its recording state and then writes the transmission enable data into the port after a recording task.
