KEY SWITCH OF SMALL-SIZE ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To make it possible to accurately push only one of key-tops without enlarging the intervals of key tops by making the height to the top panel of the key top from the surface of the electric equipment at the lower side of the top panel of the key top greater than that at the upper side thereof. CONSTITUTION:The top panel is formed with a gradient such that the height from the surface of the electric equipment to the top panel of a key top 4 is higher at the lower side of the top panel of the key top 4 than at the upper side thereof. When the key top 4 is pushed by a finger tip, therefor, the inclination of the finger tip is corrected as the top panel of the key top 4 is inclined and the finger tip pushes at an angle where it can hardly approach the lower part of a key top 5. Thereby, a rubber switch 41 is pushed down and the conductive rubber 43 of the rubber switch 41 comes into contact with a printed substrate 6 and the heteropolar pattern on the printed substrate 6 is short circuited; then, the switch is ON. Thus, it is possible to push in only key switch at the upper side with a simple constitution even though the key tops are arranged so close upward and downward as 2 top keys touch the finger tip at the same time.
