Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To accomplish the title coloring with both high adhesiveness and fastness by immersing reinforcing fiber in a coloring liquid prepared by blending a water-based pigment containing an organic and/or inorganic pigment, a binder emulsion containing a polyacrylic ester, and water at a specified weight ratio followed by drying. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing fiber such as glass fiber or alumina fiber is immersed in a coloring liquid comprising (A) 2.5-25 pts.wt. of a water-based pigment containing an organic and/or inorganic pigment, (B) 0.5-5 pts.wt. of a binder consisting of a polyacrylic ester component and (C) 70-97 pts.wt. of water, followed by removing the water contained and then drying, thus easily obtaining colored fiber giving high peel strength, causing no color fading due to organic solvents and water, and to be used as reinforcing fiber for e.g. excellent fiber- reinforced thermoplastic resin molded products.
